Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I don't have any profound advice for you. I guess I would say that you should discipline yourself to get into the habit of blogging every so often. Each time you see an interesting topic or piece of information that you think would be helpful to share then email yourself a reminder to do so. Good luck! What is your URL?

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers? I'd definitely appreciate it.

Love this book, and everything by Michael Lewis! I also read a great companion piece to this called "the greatest trade ever" which is more focused on John Paulsons hedge fund. A lot of the same characters as Big Short, but a slightly different perspective.

HI Evan. Great info on the Streamline 203k. You mentioned the requirement of a contingency reserve for the Streamline, but this is a lender overlay and not a HUD guideline. I know you know this but consumers reading this may not understand the difference and we just wanted to offer a bit of clarification.

Scott's comment (12/9/09) about the Streamline 203k being difficult is not really accurate. As with any program with many moving parts and active participants, it is only complicated when using professionals without the proper knowledge, experience, education and training. So, we are happy to see Evan share is vast knowledge on the 203k Streamline.

One of the important people involved in the 203k process is the contractor, who should be properly educated and knowledgeable with the 203k. Well, there are Certified 203k Contractors listed on the 203k Contractor Directory at http://203kContractors.com that will aid in the success of any 203k.
